I've been doing urban sketches for a while in watercolor with ink drawings, but I decided to play with gouache as well. Gouache is opaque watercolor, and you can buy one tube of white and then use it with the watercolors already in your kit. Several of the artists whose work I was looking at were using it on tinted paper, so I've been experimenting with that, to make the whites really pop. These pieces are all in the 8x10", 6x11" range, and they are all priced at $75.
