Prophetic Landscapes
This series grew out of a discussion with one of my ministers who was talking about the Biblical ancestors he looks back to for guidance. I realized that when I think about the Bible, often what I flash to immediately are the images of landscapes, both real and visionary, that the writers use to describe their experience of God. So I began painting landscapes in my own experience that echo the descriptions in the text.
