Mississippi River series

I grew up in a river town, but never spent too much time actually near the water. After learning to kayak some  years ago now, time out on the water has made me look at the river in a different way. These oil paintings are views of the Mississippi in and around Memphis.

White River Paintings

I have taken several serene painting trips to the White River in the Arkansas Ozarks. I stay in Calico Rock and work in the mornings and evenings but get out on the river itself in the middle of the day. The bluffs provide some stunning overlooks of the whole valley.
