The weather is glorious, and I've been taking full advantage. I've done several more commissions, and I'm also walking and sketching in the forest almost daily this week. I find I'm happy when I take advantage of the good weather and then saving the indoor work for after. I've got several prints in mind, and I'm looking forward to getting to them, but I think they'll keep.
I also took my bike through the forest several times and also stopped to sketch with it. It's fun to get yourself somewhere under your own power, paint, and get yourself home. Deeply satisfying.
The last piece is one of the commissions. I'm slowly getting permission to share them, but some are surprises, so I'll hold them for after Christmas.
Tennessee Crossroads recently replayed their profile of me, and I heard from a lovely number of folks who watched it. One couple really liked the Belmont Grill sketch that was highlighted, but it sold years ago. It was fun to get to go back out and draw such an interesting scene again.
