The 18 wheelers definitely made Mr. Darcy nervous at stops on the trip. He didn't even pee the whole first day, but he eventually and gradually made his peace with them.

Mr. Darcy is a shelter dog who had a hard beginning to his life but who has lived quietly in Memphis with Martha for the last several years. He hasn't traveled since he came to live with Martha, but this summer they have both embarked on a cross country journey to Washington State. These sketches will tell the story of his very first trip.
