Working from the Sketches

I got home from our trip with a ton of small Mr. Darcy watercolors, and I've been beginning to think more seriously about a book. I'm laying out some bigger pages using my sketchbook for the landscapes plus the original Mr. Darcy drawings posted here, along with some photos I took out there for reference. It's always the most fun to paint from a sketch you did on site and remember what it felt like to be sitting right there.

There are all kinds of things I should be doing this week, but this project is what I keep waking up thinking about, so it's what's on my work table at the moment.
