I'm really looking forward to my WAMA show, but it's been nice to have a pretty solid set of commissions lately. More short term deadlines keep me honest. People may be having trouble shopping the traditional way, so I've done watercolors for graduations and anniversaries lately, but I also got to do this letterpress postcard (500 total on my treadle press) for Old City Millwork here in town. It's based on their logo, but with some room for pattern, and they also nicely let me play with the colors and have it migrate as I mixed and printed. Since they were pretty easy about the color, I played a little and had fun pushing the color a bit in different directions.

They're talented woodworkers and cabinet makers over there as well as flat out awesome people. They've done a great job for me on a couple of jobs (this is unsolicited by them), so holler if you need their talents. They'll send you a thank you card that looks like this. I love working with local companies, and I had so much fun doing this project.
